The star reportedly failed a WWE Wellness Policy Test twice before going to a rehab center for drug treatment. But this was not the end of his misery. Shortly after, a couple of adult movie stars came with cheating and abuse charges against him.

Matt Riddle has been among the very few examples of switching to NXT from WWE’s main roster. The multi-talented former UFC fighter previously got fired due to marijuana use in 2013. In the wake of the Speaking Out movement in 2020, fellow female wrestler Candy Cartwright brought an assault allegation against him. Despite admitting to having an affair, Riddle denied the allegation. Things have been left unsolved later.

Coming to the latest controversy surrounding him, it seemed like he has been out of television for suffering an injury from the attack by Solo Sikoa until the real reason was unveiled.
