The Rock 50: Triple H Builds a Bridge of Adjectives to Wish Dwayne Johnson

‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, celebrated his 50th birthday on May 2. The Rock, after leaving WWE, dominated the films and other businesses and earned admirers from all those spheres. They remembered him on his birthday and he received well-wishes from all around the world. However, one wish that stood out, was from a former WWE colleague and rival.

Former WWE superstar Triple H took to Twitter to send his best wishes to The Brahma Bull. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to an athlete, performer, entrepreneur and a generational entertainer who has continually pushed the boundaries of how we define success. To the most electrifying man in entertainment … Happy Birthday”

Seeing ‘The Game’ wish his former rival was a sight to behold and may have caused fans to think back to their Attitude Era days.

HHH’s and The Rock’s WWE careers have run parallel; they both rose to prominence roughly simultaneously. In addition, they are both legendary Attitude Era Superstars.

The greatest bout between the two came at SummerSlam in 1998 for the Intercontinental Championship. Triple H won the belt when Chyna assaulted The Rock as he ascended the ladder.

Triple H and The Rock never fought one on one at WrestleMania, which remains one of the biggest missed matches at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’. However, they did have a face-off at WrestleMania 31.

Other WWE superstars sent their wishes to The Rock

Besides Triple H, several superstars wished The Rock a happy birthday.

John Cena is infamous for his Instagram posts. Cena’s Instagram account is undoubtedly the strangest thing on social media, as he shares random things with no explanation. However, on The Rock’s birthday, Cena simply posted a picture of ‘The Great One’.

The Miz wished The Rock in the most comical way. He posted a photo of the time when he pretended to be The Rock.

The Iron Sheik, a WWE icon, rarely shows respect to anyone. However, on the Rock’s birthday, he wished ‘The Brahma Bull’ by calling him “Intelligent.” In the same tweet, he took another jab at Hulk Hogan.
