The Rock revived Applebee’s fortune

When the world economy was undergoing dreadful effects of the sudden hit of COVID-19, The Rock came up with his dream product, ‘Teremana Tequila’. At the same time, the established brand, Applebee’s, was going through a tough time and was almost about to shut business. Just then, the Savvy businessman took his entry to the scene. Johnson made a deal with the drowning company, realizing the mutual benefits. It later proved to be a lucky charm for the company.

The deal allowed Applebees to use Teremana Tequila in their special Mana Margaritas. It came in various flavors, like strawberry, coconut, and Blue Aloha. The tropical beverage saw an increasing sale, causing Applebee’s to resume their business in full swing again. All credit goes to the mastermind who is none other than the big-budget star, Dwayne Johnson.

Teremana Tequila: The Rock’s dream project

Johnson’s brainchild Teremana Tequila had its roots in March 2020, The Rock along with Jenna Fagnan, Ken Austin, and Dany Garcia decided to provide some of the highest quality Tequila to the consumers. It was Johnson’s passion project and hence; it kept him involved from the very beginning of the production process. Once in a previous interview, Johnson reflected on how difficult it is to earn the trust of consumers of a new, unpopular brand. ‘Teremana Tequila was the brand new Tequila on the block that no one had ever heard of, other than consumer sentiment of ‘oh, I think that’s The Rock’s Tequila’, The Rock noted. But eventually, Teremana Tequila succeeded in earning popularity, and that too, within a brief time span. At least the sales graph depicts so.

However, currently, the Jumanji star rose to headlines for reviving the XFL with a $15 million bet.
