The Rock Provides Massive Details of the XFL Ahead of 2022 Launch

The XFL is a professional American football league that was the brainchild of WWE chairman Vince McMahon. However, the owner of the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet had little to no success in the world of football. Now, The Rock has a bright future planned for the football league.
However, after five weeks of play in the 2020 season, the company came to a halt because of COVID-19, and it eventually, filed for bankruptcy.
The Rock then intervened and bought the XFL alongside his business partner and ex-wife Dany Garcia, and Gerry Cardinale of the RedBird Capital.

Now, The Rock recently revealed what the future will look like for XFL in 2022.

The Rock was a guest on CNBC’s TechCheck, where he discussed his future business deals. However, the former champ talked about his deal with XFL and how will pan out in 2022.

Eventually, The Rock noted that in the first two months of 2022, the audience might get the taste of the new XFL. He also noted that there will be new teams and new cities in the league.
“And within the next month or maybe two months, we’re going to be announcing our broadcast partners, which we’re very excited about and new teams, new cities and very excited about that… as a former player myself, what an opportunity it is to create an opportunity for other players to live out their dream and take care of their families.” He said.

The Rock himself was a college football player and played in the NFL and played in the team of Miami as the defensive lineman. Eventually, the WWE Universe is excited to see how the XFL will pan out for The Great One.
