At 73 years, The Nature Boy—the man, the myth, the legend—is once more prepared and revved up to return to the ring. Ric Flair will engage in his farewell match against Jeff Jarrett at Starrcast V at the Nashville Fairgrounds. In the events before his final encounter, Flair held The Roast of Ric Flair.

The Nature Boy was seated in the hot seat for “The Roast of Ric Flair,” which was held on July 29. A-list celebrities such as Dwayne Johnson, Dolph Ziggler, a couple of his close pals, and well-known comedians attended the event live or via satellite to give The Nature Boy a solid roast.

Rob Gronkowski, Tom Brady’s longtime teammate, made a surprise cameo at the roast, which was one of the event’s major highlights. The official account of FITE tweeted his clip, where he had a special message for The Nature Boy.

Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady, both NFL legends who performed their careers as teammates with four Super Bowl victories, have been friends for a very long time. If Gronkowski has a message for another sporting star, it will undoubtedly make headlines since he is a legend in his respective sport.

NFL veteran, in delivering his message, remarked, “The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, welcome back my man. So hyped you gonna back in the ring, brother. It’s been a way too long. You better kick the crap out of someone for me, baby. And the whole world is hyped.”

 

Like everyone else, the NFL legend is excited to watch Flair perform and make his comeback to the ring on July 31. He added that he lamented not being able to attend the occasion.

He stated, “Sorry, I couldn’t be there. But I’m only not coming. Because I heard you have a celebrity roast and I like you too much to come and hurt your feelings, boy. Kick some a** have some fun and I’ll be watching. You are lucky this I won’t show up and whop your a**.”

The show included a lot of surprising moments like these. Fans can see the 16-time world champion being roasted in The Roast of Ric Flair, which is only accessible on FITE and is available globally.

Fans are all set to watch The Nature Boy for the last time in the ring

For Ric Flair’s last bout, which is scheduled for July 31 in Nashville, the excitement is at a higher pitch than usual. Last week, they made the match’s opponents known to the fans in the savage promo. Flair will compete against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a tag team battle with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo.
