Top Star, Who Controversially Left WWE, Once Took a Dig at Brock Lesnar With a Harsh Dose of Reality

Brock Lesnar is an athlete in a league of his own. While it is extremely uncommon for sportsmen to dominate in more than one discipline, Lesnar has excelled in a multitude of sports, showing his class.

The UFC champion is ruling the WWE realm, and many wrestlers found inspiration in him. However, a former WWE superstar who just left the organization in a contentious manner took a shot at Lesnar in 2019.

The Beast Incarnate, like many WWE legends, only made a few appearances in the latter portion of his career. He was the WWE champion in 2019 and stepped away from the company for about two months before returning at the Royal Rumble. In light of this fact, former WWE tag team champion, Sasha Banks, said something infamous.

She mocked Lesnar’s irregular appearances in the ring in a tweet. To put things in perspective, at that time, Banks was the leading challenger for Ronda Rousey’s Raw Women’s title. She drew attention to the fact that both WWE champions made sporadic appearances in the organization and predicted that soon the WWE Universe will have a champion who made frequent appearances.

She made it obvious in her tweet that, as a superstar, she would be attending every WWE event as a WWE champion. The Boss was among the company’s hardest-working wrestlers and a student of pro wrestling.

Notably, she climbed to the top of the spotlight with her tenacity. However, she and her partner Naomi infamously departed the company following a contentious backstage dispute.

Why did Sasha Banks leave the company?

To decide the top challenger for the Raw Women’s Title at Hell in a Cell against Bianca Belair, WWE set up Women’s Tag Team Champions to take part in a six-pack challenge match that night in the main event. However, the Tag team champions left the company as a result of creative disagreements.

Officials were disappointed with the former Women’s Tag Team Champions’ attitude following their infamous exit from the company and suspended them for an undisclosed period of time. At this moment, there has been no formal announcement or hint of their reappearance. However, it will be interesting to see if Banks returns to the company anytime soon.
