The most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown was another standout one. Although the show had many spectacular moments from the get-go, the one that stands out above the rest occurred during the Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross section when Scarlett threw a fireball at McIntyre and led him to be sent to the hospital.

In case you missed the segment, ‘The Scottish Warrior’ entered the arena while carrying a strap and called out Kross, challenging him to a Strap Match at Extreme Rules. Subsequently, Kross’ music hit, Scarlett walked out to the stage, and once again, Kross attacked McIntyre from behind.

However, Kross had been coming at him from behind for a few weeks. McIntyre anticipated this and battled fiercely to overcome him, beating him with a strap. Meanwhile, Scarlett ran in to assist Kross as he was beaten to a pulp, as she threw a fireball at him.

Meanwhile, WWE fans might agree that the fireball wasn’t done as perfectly as when Alexa Bliss used it earlier on Randy Orton.

However, it still served the purpose and diverted his attention, and then Scarlett struck him with a low blow. Eventually, Kross took advantage of the situation to choke out McIntyre and overwhelm him. And following the storyline, he was taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, McIntyre, who defeated the fearsome Brock Lesnar in less than 5 minutes at WrestleMania 36, seemed to be struggling against Kross.

The Scottish Warrior has a history of being highly dominating in the ring. At WrestleMania 36, he showcased his prowess against The Beast Incarnate. He effectively out-muscled Lesnar and beat him in four and a half minutes. However, it’s not the same when it comes to Kross since he somehow manages to outshine him.

The mystic powers that Kross carries with him seem to have been extremely difficult for McIntyre. Similarly, even though McIntyre overpowered him on SmackDown, Kross continued to rule with a fireball and a low blow. It would be exciting to see who prevails at the Extreme Rules, given the tension of the clash between the two has been intensifying.
