The Prizefighter Kevin Owens invited Stone Cold Steve Austin to WrestleMania 38 and, to everyone’s delight, Austin accepted the invite. Since Austin accepted the invitation, Kevin Owens has not left any moment to take a dig at Austin.

On the recent episode of Raw, Owens came out dressed as Stone Cold and entered with the Rattlesnake’s music. The fans in the arena went wild when Austin’s music hit. However, when they saw Owens, the entire arena started booing him. 

Kevin Owens, though, was unaffected and stayed in character and he even cut a promo, also in Stone Cold Steve Austin’s style.

Tazz criticizes WWE over Kevin Owens dressed as Stone Cold Steve Austin segment

After RAW ended AEW commentator and ECW legend Tazz posted a video on Twitter. The video was of Don Callis fooling the crowd by entering the arena on Kenny Omega’s music. The tweet said, “I’ll be that guy…couple weeks ago at #AEWRevolution – 😎 @KennyOmegamanX @TheDonCallis”

A couple of fans criticized Tazz for sharing the video after WWE did a Stone Cold Steve Austin segment. The first tweet was, “Yeah because AEW invented that type of segment 🙄 been done over and over again Taz c’mon”

Tazz replied, “Definitely didn’t invent it but for f*ck sakes we did it just a couple of weeks ago!! Lol #HackCity”

One fan particularly addressing WWE said, “And they got it from Shawn Michaels doing it in Canada with little person Bret Hart or WWE and Gilberg or NWO and the 4 Horsemen. It’s not something new.”

Tazz replied to this saying, “And Chris Candido came out dressed like me to my music and that was probably mid 90s… obviously it’s not nothing new, but it was just done so recently. I would expect more from a company with 76,000 writers. 🤷🏽‍♂️”

Tazz indirectly took a dig at WWE over the Kevin Owens segment. We have seen these types of segments for a long time in pro-wrestling. 

Tazz, who once was a commentator in WWE, expected more out of this feud. He took a dig at WWE writers to write something new instead of giving similar segments.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is in fantastic shape for WrestleMania 38

When Austin accepted Kevin Owens’s invitation to appear at WrestleMania 38, it wasn’t revealed whether Austin would compete in the ring or just make an appearance. However, it was cleared on the next RAW that Austin will appear on KO Show. 

Recently, during the Rich Eisen Show, Austin stated he is in fantastic shape. Austin is currently doing workouts and training for Mania. He is ready to give Kevin Owens a bit of Stone Cold beating at WrestleMania 38.
