Now, she’s the one doing all the hard work, as seen at Survivor Series WarGames, but she’s not getting the recognition. Her recent loss on SmackDown revealed visible tension between her and the team.

Damage CTRL standby as Bayley loses

This episode of SmackDown saw Bayley go head-to-head with Bianca Belair. While Damage CTRL was at ringside, Bayley had control of the match. With the odds looking to be in Bayley’s favor, there was visible tension between her and the team. Her loss to Belair did not help matters, as the team looked even more disappointed in her.

As Royal Rumble gets closer, Bayler has been talking about winning the WWE Women’s Championship to ensure Damage CTRL has all the gold. However, her loss on SmackDown may have reduced the team’s trust in her. The cracks in Damage CTRL have been getting wider.

After the match was over, we got a backstage segment with Damage CTRL. Bayley was disappointed that the team was not helping her while she always ensured their wins. Dakota Kai told her that she didn’t feel that Bayley needed any help. This was the same team that Bayley went all in for at WarGames. She constantly prevented Charlotte Flair’s team from pinning her teammates during the match. This resulted in her taking some serious hits during the match.

The speculated storyline moving forward is that Bayley will be removed from Damage CTRL for a babyface run. This will be an even bigger hit to Bayley as she helped form Damage CTRL.
