“We Will Kick Your A**”: ‘Superman’ Dwayne Johnson Once Publicly Roasted Marvel’s Superheroes, Including Chris Evans’ Captain America

Dwayne Johnson became popular in WWE because of his exceptional mic skills. The Rock used to roast his opponents on the mic and that made him a fan favorite. Indeed, he is one of the best talkers in pro wrestling history. DJ carried his speaking and roasting skills when he made the transition to Hollywood. It helped him in his acting career while it also made for some hilarious moments with his co-stars.

Fans know all about how The Rock tends to make fun of his co-stars using his witty sense of humor. Most of the time, his best friend and Hollywood star Kevin Hart is at the receiving end of DJ’s remarks. But this one time Johnson, who is now part of the DC Extended Universe, teamed up with Hart to roast Marvel and even took a hilarious swipe at Chris Evans.

Dwayne Johnson took a humorous dig at Captain America

Dwayne Johnson is no stranger to using a mic to leave people in splits and, at the same time, take a dig or two at anyone he wants. After making a career out of it in WWE, he has often done the same in his Hollywood career. During many of his interviews with his co-stars, he often has light-hearted fun at their expense.

A few years ago, The Brahma Bull gave yet another example of how savage he can be with a mic when he took the stage with Kevin Hart. In 2016, The Rock and Hart hosted the MTV awards. DJ came out dressed as Superman while Hart donned the Batman costume. Shortly The Rock began dissing the Marvel Universe and even targeted Chris Evans’ Captain America.

He said,” You know what? I smell a lot of  Marvel b*****s up in here!” Hart complimented his on-stage partner and replied, “Wait a second. I smell it now….I smell all those Marvel bitches now.”

The Rock didn’t stop there and even roasted one of Marvel’s top superheroes, Captain America. He stated, Chris Evans? Captain America? Superman and Batman will slap you right back into the Fantastic Four. We will kick your a** right back to Asgard.”

This was a reference to Evans playing the role of Human Torch in the Fantastic Four franchise before taking up the iconic shield of Captain America. This roast was also way before he played the role of Black Adam in the DC Universe. Indeed, with The Rock now onboard, the DCEU fans can expect more such entertaining quips in the future.

Dwayne Johnson displayed his excellent mic skills once again and showed that he is the best when it comes to roasting your rivals, whether in WWE or Hollywood.
