“Well Liked”: CM Punk’s Wife AJ Lee Reportedly Discussed Backstage Amidst Rumors of Return Ahead of WrestleMania XL
Despite the injury, CM Punk has confirmed that he will return to the biggest PPV of the year in a couple of weeks. The ongoing rumors also pointed toward the fact that Punk’s wife might return to WWE this year as well. This would be a big surprise for fans as AJ Lee was last seen in the Stamford-based company in April 2015.
There is no official confirmation for her appearance so far. However, a story was uncovered by an account on Twitter that mentioned Lee and the possibility of her returning to WWE shortly.

Before the two eventually left WWE, CM Punk and AJ Lee were coworkers. Now Punk has returned to his former workplace and recently, rumors about his wife’s return have also started coming in. A few months ago, the couple was also seen training together for a TV spot. However, this account on Twitter has bad news for you if you were looking forward to seeing AJ Lee’s WWE return.
Aaron Varble on Twitter revealed the news that he received from an industry insider. In a tweet, he said, “She’s very well-liked, and respected. Just not a topic at the moment.”

Upon asking about her, the backstage source discussed the situation about her return. However, it appears that she won’t be seen in the leading wrestling promotion anytime soon.
On the contrary, “The Best in the World” has announced that fans will see him return to the workplace during WrestleMania weekend.

After Royal Rumble 2024, the Chicago-based wrestler publicly announced that he would be out of the business for several months due to an injury to one of his triceps. This upset his fanbase. However, a couple of weeks ago, reports regarding Punk’s possible appearance at WrestleMania started coming in. And now, he has seemingly confirmed his presence at the upcoming PLE in Philadelphia.
In the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, the former AEW superstar cut a promo and announced that he will make it to the ‘biggest WrestleMania in history’. “WrestleMania is in Philadelphia. What are the first four letters in Philadelphia? Phil…whether or not I’m invited. It never matters to CM Punk. He’ll be there,” said the WWE legend.
Although he may not be cleared to wrestle, we might see him host, announce, or become a guest referee during the PLE.
