Tony Khan again exposed himself to the masses’ wrath by tweeting an unwise comparison between former WWE Champion WWE’s Jinder Mahal and a couple of renowned AEW acts. He referred to Mahal’s title shot against Rollins as an unwise booking decision and his take led to a Twitter war tonight, exhibiting the natural phenomena of the typical AEW-WWE rivalry.

Khan has himself been subject to several controversies lately, including not being vocal about Chris Jericho’s ongoing sexual harassment charge, justification of CM Punk’s firing with a rather unrealistic claim, and so on. Amidst this heat, his latest anti-WWE actions earned him the ultimate blow.

TK referred to Mahal’s title shot against Rollins as an unwise booking decision of Triple H. He expressed heat to fans who took on AEW’s Hook for his recent push but chose to go silent when it came to Jinder Mahal.

Making a reactive AEW-WWE comparison, Khan tweeted “A double standard, Hook 28-1 career record, on winning streak calls out the Champ, a logical challenge sparks online outrage. Jinder has lost every single match he’s in for the past year, and immediately gets a title shot, where is the rage AEWDynamite TOMORROW on TBS”

He didn’t leave the matter here. He made another post shifting his jabs toward the USA network (broadcasting partner of WWE ) while keeping Jinder Mahal at the receiving end again.

“A moral victory for the USA is one win more than their World Title challenger Jinder Mahal has in the past 364 days. it’s been a full year since he won a match. You put AEW in our place by getting Jinder Mahal in a big match on your TV show. Do it more often,” the AEW head vented.

This earned him a lot of boos online not only from fans but also from some notable wrestling icons including Corey Graves, Eric Bischoff etc.

Jinder Mahal himself stood up against the insult and put Khan in his place in a counter tweet.

Jinder Mahal joins the verbal feud by firing back at Tony Khan

The 37-year-old took to social media to deliver an epic response to Tony Khan. He dismissed Khan’s overconfidence in his talents, invalidating Hook’s whole existence whom TK tipped against him in a useless comparison.

Mahal pretends that he doesn’t even know who Hook is and savagely presents the question. Then he immediately jumped on promoting next week’s edition of RAW on the USA Network. “Who tf is Hook? WATCH MONDAY NIGHT RAW ON @USANETWORK MONDAY 8PM EST!!!” he wrote.
