Charlotte Flair is arguably the greatest WWE female superstar in history. Having claimed the women’s world championship a record 14 times, ‘The Queen hardly puts her foot wrong. However, once in a while, even the greats could fumble and make rookie mistakes. On the recent edition of SmackDown, Flair was heavily trolled after making a glaring botch which WWE fans were quick to catch on to. 

What did Charlotte Flair do on SmackDown?

The daughter of the 16-time world champion, Ric Flair, has always delivered both inside and outside WWE. Though her matches are usually well-paced, sometimes even a great wrestler like Flair can make errors inside the squared circle. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair competed against Iyo Sky in a highly competitive matchup. Flair picked up the victory after hitting the Natural Selection. 

However, in a video shared by Twitter user, despite the efforts of the wrestlers, fans trolled a particular spot and spoke about it on social media. 

After Sky landed a hurricanrana, Flair was supposed to flip onto the mat seamlessly outside the ring. But the timing was off and that resulted in an awkward-looking sequence. 

Even though Flair picked up an impressive victory, WWE fans mercilessly picked her apart for the botched spot and shared their views on Twitter.

WWE fans have always been passionate and vocal with their opinions. While they shower love when wrestlers perform well, they can be equally challenging to overcome if superstars go wrong.

Well, it’s fair to say Charlotte Flair evoked a negative reaction from her failed spot. But fans can forgive superstars if rectify their mistakes and put forth quality matches. 

With a tiny wrinkle under her belt, Charlotte Flair would now look to turn things around and once again win over fans as SummerSlam approaches and she targets her 15th Women’s championship.
