WWE Legend, Who Deleted Twitter After Elon Musk Acquisition, Returns With a Bold Statement

Elon Musk recently acquired Twitter, and it stirred up a lot of controversies. His acquisition also saw him laying off several employees. Although no WWE Superstar as such commented on Musk and his policies, one superstar, rather a WWE legend, in particular, left Twitter after Musk took hold of it.

Musk acquired Twitter and one WWE Legend found it better to be off the platform. He is a man of controversy, and has been the talk of the town from the past few months.

WWE Legend Mick Foley thought it would be better to be off Twitter, than being on it with Musk at the top. Foley had deactivated his Twitter account, the moment Musk’s acquisition became final. However, he recently made his comeback to the platform.

Foley made his return to Twitter with a bold statement. He wrote, “I’m back on Twitter for one day – so I can PLEAD with all of you NOT to give your vote to election deniers.” He stated that inflation, gas prices would fall or rise. However, if the democracy of the country was gone, it would never come back.

WWE Legend, Mick Foley is known for speaking his mind out, without being afraid of the consequences. On several previous occasions, he had spoken out on anything he felt was injustice, and presented his opinion.

The 57-year-old Foley has always been a hardcore wrestler, taking high-risks while performing his matches. However, those high-risks always came about with a high price. Foley suffered multiple concussions during his career.

During latest episode of Foley is Pod, he opened up on his mental health. He revealed how he is now better than how he was during the later years of his career. However, he also emphasized on his inability of remembering promos. He said, “Man, those concussions are no joke. You see — I honestly think I’m doing better than I was when Beyond the Mat was.”

He further revealed that he does not appear on WWE TV Shows because of his inability of remembering promos. Foley said, “Now, I can’t remember a written promo. And that’s one of the reasons why if I do get a call for [WWE] TV, I’m more likely to say no.”

Performing Hardcore matches for WWE took a toll on Foley. However, he still is in great shape and is enjoying good health.
