Johnson’s kind gesture touched many people. Tamina recently reacted to it while speaking with Ryan Satin on Out of Character and praised Johnson for his lovely gesture. She stated, “He has done something because that’s just his heart. Dwayne has always been that way.”
She said she had known him this way ever since they were youngsters. And only a few people get to see the compassionate, giving side of Johnson, who has always been that way.
She added, “You know what I’m saying? Nobody ever gets to say, but this man has done above and beyond for me, more than I can even imagine. You know, for anybody to even imagine what he’s done for me. So like me, that’s my brother. I love that man.”
It shows that despite his success today, he still maintains a great bond with his Samoan and Snuka relatives and is still very connected to his roots. Notably, he has a close relationship with Jimmy Snuka’s family since their families shared houses in both North Carolina and Hawaii.
