WWE Star Grayson Waller Riles Up Taylor Swift’s Swifties With His ‘Apology’ After Making Comments About Pop Star on the Bump

One of the greatest superstars of the current generation, Taylor Swift has a massive fan following. Dubbed ‘Swifties’, they were never afraid to show their love for the pop star. Her popularity has transcended all forms of media. She has been referred to in movies, television, and now in pro wrestling. Recently Grayson Waller made a comment on Taylor Swift, which resulted in a lot of backlash from her fans. Following the comments of her fans, Waller decided to apologize to them. The only twist is that he did it in his usual way.

Grayson Waller issues apology to the Swifties

The star took X (former Twitter) to send an apology to the Swifties. He started by saying, “It’s been crazy 24 hours. I know a lot of people are upset about the joke I made on The Bump about Taylor Swift.” He then went on to introduce himself by saying that he was currently the hottest WWE star while he also hosted his show. Waller then said, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry that you define yourself by another woman and her accomplishments. It’s kinda sad, to be honest.” He then gave a reply in his old befitting way to all the people who have been texting him mean things.

He said, “ Now all these swamp donkeys in my DMs saying mean things. Saying I am a zero out of ten. Leave the roasting to professionals, stick to tying friendship bracelets like four-year-olds.” On getting his net worth compared to Taylor Swift’s cats, he said that only witches and crazy old ladies had cats. He also declared he wanted to shift from the negativity. Waller said he would try to spread some positivity. He then quoted the lyrics of Swift’s famous song, “Shake It Off” and then started playing it. As the song was playing, he said, “This song s**ks! No wonder you people are so grumpy!” mocking her fans before signing off.

Grayson Waller is known for his classic ‘rubs’. Everyone has faced it, including John Cena on multiple occasions. But no one was expecting this unexpected crossover between Grayson Waller and WWE.

How did Grayson Waller end up facing backlash from the Swifties?

It all began when Waller posted a photo with Travis Kelce’s mother. Kelce’s mother was present at the Philadelphia Eagles’ scrimmage, where Waller was also present. He clicked a picture with her and posted on X saying, “Travis getting all the attention, needed to give Mama Kelce the Grayson Waller Rub.” The photo instantaneously blew up with Mama Kelce trending on the social media platform. Travis Kelce has attracted all the attention and has garnered up a storm in the NFL realm for the same.

Waller commented on the rumors in his appearance on The Bump. There he was asked about his comments on Swift-Kelce’s relationship. To which he commented that he was happy for Kelce as he decided to settle for a “6”. He then went on to say that he likes to “spice things up”. Waller then added that he would settle for a 9 or 10. Waller pointed at Austin Theory present, he said that Theory will do the same. Needless to say, his comments on Taylor Swift have landed him in a hot soup but just like Taylor Swift’s song, looks like he will just “Shake It Up”.
