Additionally, on the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE made the announcement that Lacey Evans will appear in NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 as the race’s honorary Grand Marshal. Evans expressed his excitement on Twitter following the announcement that she will be a part of the NASCAR Cup Series.

Evans, expressing her excitement on Twitter wrote, “Call me GRAND MARSHAL Evans.” In addition, after a series of tweets, she said, “I ain’t shutting up till I go to sleep. I’m excited. ”

The Coca-Cola 600 is not only NASCAR’s longest race, but it also serves as a remembrance of America’s fallen heroes. Moreover, if you didn’t know before, she rose to prominence in WWE and she served as a USMC military police officer. Since she served in the military police, Evans appears to have been chosen by NASCAR to give the command to start the engines for Sunday’s Cup race in Charlotte.
