Wrestling Inc’s Raj Giri reported on Twitter that WWE had released Sasha Banks. On Twitter, Raj Giri reported, “I’m hearing Sasha Banks has been released. I don’t know if it’s he requested it or if it was on WWE’s end.”

On May 16, ‘The Boss’ and Naomi walked from a WWE six-pack challenge match over a concept dispute. Moreover, WWE claimed shortly after Banks and Naomi walked out that they had disappointed the WWE universe.
