Tony Khan, reacted to Eric Bischoff’s remark, stating that “That’s f**king bulls*”t. I can tell”

Moreover, Khan stated, “He [CM Punk] wrestled a bunch of young guys, a bunch of veterans in between there — Will Hobbs, Daniel Garcia, goddamnit. And then he showed up, did the biggest program in terms of everything, TV, box office with MJF. And then he did the goddamn main event here. He’s the biggest part of the financial success in the history of this company. Lets f**king go.”

Khan strongly denied all the WWE legend’s claim. Furthermore, he added that, contrary to his claim, Punk is the most important factor in the company’s financial success.

CM Punk is without a doubt one of the biggest names to emerge from the WWE PG Era. He did, however, leave the WWE in January 2014. Following his departure from the WWE, he made his pro wrestling debut at AEW in 2021. Additionally, his return generated a lot of buzzes and caught the attention of a lot of people.

At Double of Nothing, CM Punk defeated Hangman Adam Page to win the AEW World Championship. This his was the first world title victory in nine years, as his last world title reign was in WWE. Last time he was WWE Champion for 434 days from 2012 to 2013.

Punk vs Hangman was undoubtedly one of the best matches of the PPV event. Despite the fact that Punk messed up a lot of moves throughout the world championship battle. He, on the other hand, dominated the match from the start.
