During his long tenure with the organization, Michael Bisping was a staple of the middleweight division. The title eluded him, however, and until he got the shocking upset over Luke Rockhold. Some might argue his name would’ve been lost to time.

Following a string of tweets titled ‘The GOAT Thread’ put out by Conor McGregor, wherein he dismissed Bisping standing as an elite fighter, the ever outspoken Bisping clapped back at the Notorious one

McGregor, known to voice his opinions with reckless abandon, discounted Bisping’s legacy within the sport to downplay one of the GOAT contenders on his list: GSP.
