“You’re Gonna Get Fired”: Dwayne Johnson, Who is Half American and Half Samoan, Once Mocked Top Hollywood Star for Her British Accent

Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood today. He has worked with a variety of stars during his acting career and shared a good chemistry with them. One of his co-actors with whom, ‘The Rock’ enjoys a good on-screen as well as off-screen chemistry is the British star, Emily Blunt.

Johnson and Emily Blunt starred in the 2021 Disney movie, Jungle Cruise. The pair did a lot of interviews leading up to the release of the film.

The duo had some hilarious interactions during this time and often made fun of each other.

Dwayne Johnson made fun of Blunt’s British accent

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt appeared for IMDb during the promotion of Jungle Cruise. The actors took part in a segment called, “Seven Burning Questions.” Both of them had fun while answering these questions and even took hilarious digs at each other.

One question was about who they thought was the funniest person in the cast. Blunt named Jack Whitehall, but The Rock said it was her and then went on to make fun of her British accent.

The former WWE Champion said, “No, you. Her because with her British sense of (accent) uma (humor). As she likes to say British sense of uma (humor).”

The exchange continued for a bit and the host said she thought that The Rock was referring to the Hollywood actress, Uma Thurman.

Blunt said she wished Thurman could be in the sequel to Jungle Cruise. This prompted another witty response from ‘The Great One’.

He said, “She will be ‘cause you are gonna get fired.” The British actress quietly said she knew this.

The acting duo enjoy each other’s company and it looks they had fun doing many such interviews. Johnson also mentioned that Blunt is the only co-star that made him laugh the hardest.

The Rock shared the second trailer of Black Adam

The Rock will next star in DC’s anti-hero flick Black Adam as the titular character. The movie which features, Pierce Brosnan, as Dr. Fate of the Justice Society of America, will hit the theaters on October 21 this year.

Johnson  recently also shared the second trailer of his movie on Twitter.

DC will hope that the former WWE Champion could weave his magic one more time and help kick start a fresh new era for the franchise.
