The former WWE champion praised Vince McMahon and spoke about the time ‘The Boss’ advice to him when he was facing a health problem.

“I talked to Vince, I was so embarrassed that night’s events man… I think I got to hang up the boots. At that point, it was the sneakers, which I started wearing because of the problems with the knees. And that’s when he encouraged me to drop some pounds, less events… I can’t remember where I live anymore.”

He added, “I drive past my house, I can’t remember things. And he said you’ve just had your last match. So that’s when people talk about Vince being selfish, and driving people…I’ll counter with alright, maybe there are elements of that. But when push came to shove, and he heard that one of his guys was having trouble… was more important to him that I be healthy than that I continue to make money for the company.”

Many people in the WWE believe McMahon’s image as a money-hungry and egotistical man. Mankind, on the other hand, rejected all of those claims and defended McMahon.
