“An Honor to Finally Meet Ya” The Rock Welcomes Legendary NFL Coach to His Brand

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the biggest names that came from the WWE. He went on to become an actor after leaving WWE. Later, Rock came into the limelight as one of Hollywood’s most renowned stars. In addition, He joined numerous businesses, including Project Rock with Under Armour, Seven Bucks Production, etc. Besides that, He is also a co-owner of the XFL football league.

Following the failure of the XFL 2 season. Just before the auction in 2020, The Rock acquired the XFL from his former WWE employer, Vince McMahon.

The Rock announces The XFL is officially returning. The football league would return in 2023 under the new ownership of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Rock unveiled its roster of eight head coaches.

Johnson is seen on Twitter posting photos of himself with the coaches of the league’s clubs. He was presenting the coaches in his trademark way.

Wade Phillips is one of the new XFL coaches he posted on Twitter. When he went to The Rock, he addressed him as ‘Coach Wade.’ In response to his post, Rock welcomed him to the league and referred to Phillips as a legendary NFL coach.

Phillips worked as an assistant coach for various coaches before becoming a head coach, including Bum Phillips, Buddy Ryan, Dan Reeves, and Marv Levy. In addition, Wade Phillips was a National Football League (NFL) coach from 1976 to 2019, completing his career as the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive coordinator.

The Rock welcomed other XFL head coaches

The XFL, a Rock enterprise, is slated to relaunch in 2023. On Twitter, he likewise presented the league’s other coaches.

He welcomed Rod Woodson by replying, “Welcome our Head Coaches to the @XFL2023 Coach Woodson, I know you know the saying because you lived it.. “offense wins games, defense wins championships” Can’t wait to see you and your team, light it up and have fun. LFG!!”

He introduced coach Anthony Becht on Twitter, stating, “Great meeting you Coach Becht and welcome to the @XFL2023!” ” LFG!! ”
