At one point during the conversation, Seth Rollins stated that he was glad that Rodgers was long gone to the New York Jets. He said, “Look, it’s the first time in like 30 years that we don’t have a quarterback named Favre or Rodgers in the NFC North and I’m telling you it feels good, it feels good! I’m so glad Rodgers is long gone in New York. I can’t wait for him to get crushed by Miami and crushed by Buffalo. I can’t wait for the New York media to squeeze from him. Good riddance, No. 12.”

A few weeks ago, Rollins showed the effects of the assault when he defended his World Title against Bron Breakker at NXT with a taped-up mid-section. Following his win, he fell victim to yet another ambush courtesy of Balor.

With Money in the Bank fast approaching, Rollins and Balor have come full circle, reigniting their rivalry from 2016. Although Balor was the better man 7 years ago, times have changed. It remains to be seen who walks out of London with the World Heavyweight Championship around their waist.
