Dwayne Johnson has been raising hell wherever he has donned his Final Boss avatar. Johnson is currently reigning more terror than ‘Black Adam’ in his superhero flick. He is also making substantial progress with his football league, the UFL. The inaugural season of The Rock’s prestigious football league recently kicked off on March 30th, 2024.

Dwayne Johnson attended the opening match in Dallas and showcased a glimpse of the stadium from his hotel room the night before. Dwayne Johnson has been extremely busy preparing for WrestleMania XL and terrorizing Cody Rhodes. However, he recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was accompanied by The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. The Night One main event duo spoke about The Rock’s exchange with Larry David about changing a particular game mechanic. Dwayne Johnson said, “So I get a call from Larry David. So Ari Emanuel is my agent, a long long-time business partner. He calls Ari, Ari’s like, okay, let me get you in contact with Dwayne. So Larry David calls me, first of all, Larry’s f***ing crazy. So he calls me.” While The Rock called David lazy, he didn’t know that the comedian’s brain was working overtime.

Johnson continued, “Larry if you guys don’t know, he is so kicker at first. He hates this idea that they’ll play a game and the players will leave it all out on the field and at the end of the game, it can at times come down to the kicker. He hates that idea. So, he called me and goes, ‘You’re going to launch the new league, right?’” The Rock responded with a yes but was surprised to hear the demand David made afterward.

The WWE star noted down the exchange, “He goes, ‘What can we do about the kickers? Do we need the kickers?’ So, we have this spirited conversation and we need the kickers, by the way. Because kickers are an amazing part and component of football, as we know. Yeah. But we did tweak some of the rules a little bit in the UFL, which, by the way, the NFL has adopted some of our rulings, too, as well.” Jimmy Falon agreed with Johnson and noted that the kickers make up the foot part of football.

The Rock has completely turned WWE into the Dwayne Johnson show. Interestingly, however, when Falon asked him if he felt like he was on David’s show, The Curveball, The Rock immediately agreed.
