For the majority of her career, Alexa Bliss has played a heel and sinister role. Even before she was the associate and confidant of the fearsome ‘Fiend‘, she was the Harley Quinn of WWE.
Although she debuted with a fairy/cheerleader gimmick, Bliss took no time in adapting to something that was her element. In an interview with Yahoo Sports, she proclaimed her love for fiction.
“I’m such a villain fan. I love comics, I love anything Disney–everyone knows that about me, I’m a big Disney fan–anything that’s fictional, I’m a huge fan of.”

She continued, “I just like portraying characters but making it my own. The Harley Quinn thing I was really excited about. I kind of ran with the Harley Quinn thing.”
“I said I was going to try it anyway and say sorry after [if it didn’t work], but it got a great response and that gave me the freedom to do more,” said Bliss. Well, to her advantage, the gimmick truly worked, and she made a name for herself.

Bliss’ love for comics is so well-known that the makers and actors of the DC movie ‘Birds of Prey’ came to talk to her in an interview. There, the lead actress Margot Robbie (aka the fictional Harley Quinn) revealed why she loved the character –
“She’s fun, and she’s unpredictable, and I think that just makes for a super entertaining character,” said Robbie. “She’s also a psychiatrist, so she’s incredibly smart, she’s fascinating and funny, and fun and unpredictable.”

In resonance, Bliss revealed why she loved the character, “I just love that she’s unapologetically herself, and like you said unpredictable, and I just love any persona, character, or person that can be themselves and not feel bad about it, and embrace it and embrace how different they are, and I’ve always been a big fan of that.”
Right now, Bliss is aligned with Bray Wyatt on Raw. When they started off, a lot of people thought they will share a Joker and Harley Quinn dynamic. However, they are yet to have that.
