After lingering in “darkness” for a while, Braun Strowman is back on track. This week on SmackDown, he will get his title “rematch” from Roman Reigns. But before that, he had some things to say about the Tribal Chief’s changed demeanor.

Roman Reigns returned to WWE at SummerSlam and attacked Bray Wyatt (then Universal champion). The following week, he picked up the title by pinning Strowman in a triple threat match on Payback.

Since then, his attitude has changed. This change did not go unnoticed by Strowman, as he revealed in a recent interview with Sportskeeda.

“Look, I’ll be honest with you, I’m a little bit shocked by it and pretty appalled. I’ve always had a lot of respect for Roman. Even when we were trying to kill each other, you know, he helped me out a lot early in my career, and he went away, and stuff at the beginning of this pandemic, and I applauded him for being selfish and taking care of himself and his family, first and foremost.”

Strowman replaced Reigns at the last minute at this year’s WrestleMania. He defeated Goldberg and picked up the Universal title, and did whatever WWE asked him to do.

However, Reigns was not very reciprocative of the respect shown by Strowman. In a recent interview with ESPN, the Tribal Chief bad-mouthed the Monster among men. You can check that out here.

Braun Strowman says Roman Reigns has lost the respect of the locker room

Now that Roman Reigns is a heel and has Paul Heyman by his side, Reigns is totally different. His weekly rants about his superiority and head of the table are getting on people’s nerves.

Strowman said, “I don’t know where this attitude and the smug chip on his shoulder that he’s got since he’s come back. I don’t know if it’s because he’s got this parasite Paul Heyman in his ear, you know filling his head up full with all this c***, and stuff like this.”

While the ‘Monster Among Men’ understands Reigns has a lot of responsibility upon his shoulders (literally), he is not a fan of the new attitude.

I’m not really a fan of it. I don’t think too many of the guys are in the locker room.”
