“I’ve Come a Long Way from Rockin Fanny Packs”: Dwayne Johnson’s Breathtaking Picture on Instagram Screams “Style Icon”

In terms of his personality and sense of style, Dwayne Johnson is becoming better as time passes. The Hollywood actor will eternally have the moniker, ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ that People magazine gave him in 2016. On top of that, the name of GQ magazine’s summer style icon for this year has just been revealed. And it’s none other than The Great One.

This summer’s biggest fashion icon is Dwayne Johnson. According to GQ, “Dwayne Johnson might be best known for the circumference of his arms and his action hero antics on the big screen, but he’s also this summer’s big style inspiration.”

The Rock posted the picture in which he expressed gratitude to GQ for the title. He captioned his post, “Appreciate the love @gq. I’ve come a long way from rockin’ fanny packs to a big, brown, bald, tattooed style iconoclast.”

Johnson also revealed the key to his status as a fashion star. He claimed to have discovered that the secret to having “style” is to just be yourself and never try too hard. The Rock received praise for wearing a seasonally suitable costume on Jimmy Kimmel Live. His strap loafers, basic blue vest, and simple black pants all fit his personality.

Indeed, he has been always been what he is truly and has just been himself all the time. However, the outfit The Rock addressed in his post is his old fanny pack look, which occasionally comes up in conversation. Moreover, his close buddy Kevin Hart paid tribute to his fanny pack look.

The Rock and Kevin Hart are the iconic combos with the closest relationship in Hollywood. Additionally, they have fantastic on-screen chemistry, and their fans adore them. In a humorous Instagram video that Hart shared in 2019 and that has since become a meme, he turns up at The Rock’s door wearing the well-known silver chain and fanny pack outfit.

In the video, Hart acknowledged that this was his annual Halloween attire. And this video was created to advertise ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’. However, there is no question that DJ evolves like a fine wine in outlook as well, owing to his constant efforts to improve.
