Xbox never fails to surprise the fans with new perks and offers in its subscription services. Microsoft has introduced great subscription services at affordable prices such as the Xbox Gaming Pass Ultimate, which is available at $14.99 per month. But many are still not convinced enough to buy these services. The primary reason behind this is the lack of attractive first-party games on Xbox. However, Microsoft seemingly took notice of this issue and made a $7.5 billion deal to purchase ZeniMax Media Inc.

Starting from Friday, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get two months’ worth of subscription to Funimation for free. Funimation is the biggest name in streaming and dubbing Japanese anime. The Funimation Premium Plus subscription grants access to Funimation’s entire anime library.

The most noticeable names in this library are Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Paranoia Agent, and One Piece. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can stream all these free of cost for two months. Any anime fan will agree that this offer is very lucrative.

Unfortunately, this offer limits itself to the Xbox One and Xbox Mobile community. PC subscribers of the Xbox Gaming Pass Ultimate will not be able to enjoy the Funimation Premium Plus subscription. Also, this offer is for the people who currently do not have any Funimation subscriptions.

It is clear that Microsoft wants to win the trust of the Xbox community so that they subscribe to its services. At a time like this, where both the PS5 and the Series X are very similar in their gaming performance, things might come down to consumer services and better gaming titles. With such offers constantly stealing the spotlight, Microsoft’s gaming console can eventually reach the top of the market.
