Xbox Game Pass Continues to Bolster Its Library With the Addition of Destiny 2 and Back 4 Blood in October

Xbox Game Pass has certainly changed gaming ever since it burst on to the scene in 2017. Players on both Windows PC and Xbox consoles have loved the subscription service as it provides a lot of games for such a cheap price. Along with that, over the years, the quality of the titles has increased quite drastically as well causing more fans to invest in it.

The service already has some of the best titles from different genres. However, it looks like the Microsoft owned platform will not stop improving it anytime soon. The company showcased the new titles joining in the month of October, and the lineup looks stacked.

Xbox Game Pass to add Back 4 Blood and many more

Xbox recently revealed the lineup for its gaming subscription service for the month of October. Today, Xbox Game Pass will add adventure game The Procession to Calvary and first-person psychological title Visage. On Tuesday, October 12, upcoming first-person shooter zombie title Back 4 Blood will arrive as a Day 1 title on it. The Turtle Rock Studios developed game also developed the highly acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise, so players can expect some gory and fun action.

On Thursday, October 14, the Xbox service will also add The Riftbreaker as a Day 1 title. The game will have players in an advanced Mecha-suit to build a base, and then thrive in a distant colonized planet. Another Day 1 title in The Good Life also joins Game Pass on October 15. The game will follow the story of Naomi Hayward, a debt-ridden journalist who’s trying to solve a murder mystery.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light also joins the fray

However, the biggest addition of them all has to be the Beyond Light expansion of Destiny 2 for PC players. The expansion comes to Xbox Game Pass almost a year after its release, as the popular Bungie nears the release of its next expansion in The Witch Queen, which will arrive in February 2022. With this expansion, players can finally unlock the game’s first Darkness subclass in the extremely powerful Stasis. Plus, the game also has some exciting new content, so Guardians should definitely check it out.

The list of games for the month of October should be top-notch for any gaming fan. With more titles set to be announced later this month, it seems like nothing can stop Xbox Game Pass’ global dominance in the gaming subscription world.
