Life may slowly be getting back to normal, but that doesn’t stop gamers from having a good time indoors. For the upcoming month, Xbox has announced 4 games for free coming in July. The gold lineup features some interesting titles.

July’s games for Xbox Gold

All four of the games will be free for Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. 

The games coming is are listed below: 

  • WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship ($49.99 ERP): Available July 1 to 31 on Xbox One
  • Dunk Lords ($19.99 ERP): Available July 16 to August 15 on Xbox One
  • Saints Row 2 ($9.99 ERP): Available July 1 to 15 on both consoles
  • Juju ($14.99 ERP): Available July 16 to 31 on both consoles

WRC 8

The official game for the 2019 World Rally Championship is a realistic racing simulator that lets you immerse yourself in a world of authentic-looking cars and sceneries. 

Dunk Lords

The game is a two-on-two basketball beat ‘em up that features special moves, dunks, and some fun equipment to try out. There are 20 characters to choose from; each with their own sets of skills and abilities.

Saints Row 2

The second title of the Saints Row series is an open world action-adventure game that was released back in 2008. Saints Row 2 took on the likes of GTA, but with more of fun-driven gameplay. 

Juju

Juju is another adventure game that is all about fun elements. Players embark on a journey to save the world from an ancient evil in a mystical setting. 

Currently, games such as Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, Coffee Talk, and Sina Mora are up for grabs for free this month. Users who wish to reap the highest benefits could subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to get their hands on 100+ PC and console games.

Xbox July event

These four games aren’t the only thing slated for Xbox fans next month. New updates for the latest Xbox Series X console will drop next month. Xbox’s Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg hinted at a delay for the event on Twitter. When asked about an update by a fan, Greenberg asked the community to be patient.

Microsoft could line up to 15 games for the event. By all means, they’d look to make a better impact than Sony’s PlayStation 5. Both next-gen consoles come with similar specifications. It remains to be seen what could be the price for the next-gen consoles which will have improved overall experience.
