Xbox has brought some terrific news for its community. With Halloween right around the corner, Xbox has made it so the community can celebrate ‘Spooktober’ in style. The October lineup of the Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate is here, and it is quite a treat.

The official announcement says:

“Get ready for a Spooktacular October Games with Gold lineup! On Xbox One, play as an adorable villain in the throwback horror puzzle game Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut, and keep your wits about you in the creepy stealth title Maid of Sker. On the Xbox 360, and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, warp through ancient Egypt in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and get your trick-or-treating fix in Costume Quest.”

These 3 titles will be available for a limited time, exclusively for Live Gold members as a part of ‘Games with Gold.’ The Game Pass Ultimate membership already entails all the benefits of Games with Gold, in addition to access to over 100 high-quality games with Game Pass.

Here is a complete list of all the games that will be available for free for October, as per the official announcement:

• Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut: This title will be available from the 1st of October to the 31st on Xbox One. Play as Skullface in this isometric puzzle game which is basically a tribute to the 1980’s classic trash horror.
• Maid of Sker: This title will be available from the 16th of October to the 15th of November on Xbox One. The announcement describes this as, “Set in a remote hotel with a macabre and gory history, use stealth tactics to stay alive against a cult of sound-based enemies.”
• Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy: This title will be available from the 1st of October to the 15th on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Players play as the Sphinx, who along with his friend the Mummy, tries to disrupt the plans of Set. Definitely one of the most interesting ones among the lot.
• Costume Quest: This one will be available from the 16th of October to the 31st on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Players will have to collect magical costumes and level up their heroes in the neighborhoods of Auburn Pines that are crawling with monsters.

Looks like Game Pass Ultimate brought with it the ultimate Halloween party!
