Xbox Series X media remote is more compact and provides an ease of navigation
The media remote, from PDP Gaming, is compatible with the Xbox One console as well. It features motion-activated back-lit buttons and will make navigation even easier, thanks to its compact design. Although this item will be available from the 5th of next month, you can pre-order it right now.
However, a section of fans is considering not buying this since the media remote from their previous-gen consoles works just fine. Even Microsoft has already confirmed that previous-gen remotes will work on the next-gen consoles, so that sounds fair.

We are almost near the launch date of the Series X/S. Recently, many people who had pre-ordered the Series X console received a mail from Microsoft that said their consoles will be shipped from the 25th of this month. This naturally baffled the buyers, who inquired about this out of curiosity.
