Shaun White bidding farewell to snowboarding is the end of an era. He dominated the game for over 20 years, helping define the existence of the game in modern times. However, while one legend has done his part, another one is in the making.

After Shaun’s retirement, Chloe Kim seems to be the next American snowboarder who will carry the mantle forward. She has been incredible in all her performances. In fact, she has won two consecutive Olympic golds in the only two Olympics that she has been part of. Chloe certainly has got that hunger and all the qualities to become the next American snowboarding legend.

Shaun White shares a heartwarming message for Chloe Kim

A 14-year age difference is just a number when you are both champions of the same sport. Shaun has great respect for the Olympic champion Chloe Kim, and he always speaks highly of her. Replying to a fan’s question about which female celebrity Shaun looks up to and is inspired by, he mentioned the name “Chloe Kim.”

Shaun further added, “You are a beast. Keep collecting golds. and you are awesome, so keep doing it.”

Perhaps Chloe will transform snowboarding way beyond where Shaun left it. However, there’s one thing he can absolutely relax about and it’s snowboarding. With Chloe Kim on the go, the sport will definitely reach new heights and be remembered forever, just like the legend Shaun White.

Will Shaun return to snowboarding?

Well, for now, the answer to that question is a simple ‘no’. Shaun has said, “So many people messaged me his like, ‘I belong on the field,’ I was like, ‘ugh, do I belong on the snow? I don’t know. I need a minute. I’m enjoying every bit of this, so, it would take me a bit longer to get re-motivated to do something like that, but no I’m gonna enjoy this. I’m done. I’m good.”

While many believe he should consider coming back just the NFL great Tom Brady, Shaun is happy where he is at this moment. Do you think Shaun belongs in the snow?
