“You Got Time to Delete This”: Fans Fire Shots at Ex-Lakers Center for His Controversial Statement on G-League Star

The fans are witnessing one of the best seasons of the NBA this year. With crazy stats, record-breaking performances, and historical nights, it has been a treat to witness. Fans are all geared up for the All-Star game next month which will take place in Utah this season. In addition, the NBA came with exciting news yesterday with the participation of G-League star Mac McClung in the competition. Though NBA fans seem to be delighted about his participation, ex-Lakers center Larry Nance Jr. doesn’t seem to be. 

The New Orleans Pelicans center made a statement on the G-League star which has grabbed the attention of the NBA world.

Fans react to Larry Nance Jr’s statement on Mac McClung

Nance Jr. tweeted, “Nothing against this kid, cause I’ve never met him.. but this over Trey Murphy is laughable.”, mocking the G-League star. Trey Murphy III, forward of the New Orleans Pelicans, has his own dunk highlights.

Though Nance Jr. came in support of his teammate, fans did not hold back from his statement about McClung.

Fans are eager for an exciting Dunk Contest this year after back-to-back disappointing dunk contest performances the previous two years. The 2016 dunk contest between Aaron Gordon and Zach Lavine arguably set the bar for the best dunk contest in the NBA. With the addition of Mac McClung to the dunk contest this year, fans are expecting something new and exciting.

Fans want another 2020 Slam Dunk Contest 

The 2020 Slam Dunk Contest was a treat for the viewers. Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon and Chicago Bulls forward Derrick Jones Jr. went on to put out a show for the audience with their fancy dunk. The contest went to a tie-breaker between the two stars. Though Jones Jr. got the best of Aaron Gordon in the end, fans were not happy with the result.

Aaron Gordon went out to dunk over 7′ 6″ center Tacko Fall which did not get a score of 50. Although the contest took a turn in the end, fans got to witness one of the best dunk contests in recent years.
