Gegard Mousasi can’t fight Israel Adesanya. Why?
Despite Mousasi having a game plan ready for when he’s locked in a cage with Adesanya, he says it is only a hypothetical scenario. Gegard recently signed a new deal with the Bellator promoters. Even if both the fighters want to, the changes are nowhere in question.
Gegard, in relation to his new deal, said, “I talked to [Bellator president] Scott [Coker], and in [less than an hour] we had a deal, I think. So, I’m happy, I’m very happy. … I’ve been treated very well. I feel like the payment is good. The relationship that I have with Scott, the Bellator staff, it feels like you’re part of a team, you know? It’s more connected, let’s say.”
