Back in 2018, Roger Federer made a major change. He left his long-time sponsor Nike and signed a contract with Uniqlo. It has now been 2 years since he signed that deal which is why the Uniqlo released a tweet commemorating the partnership. Check it out.
Uniqlo posted a video showcasing the 2-year journey they have had with the Swiss Maestro. It showed Roger’s various outfits and also him working with them. This tweet did not go unnoticed by Federer who posted a video talking about his partnership with Uniqlo.
In the video, Roger Federer talked about how his partnership with Uniqlo has been. He said,
“Those 2 last years have gone by in such a flash, it’s been amazing to be a part of Uniqlo and to be Uniqlo’s global brand ambassador. I have been having so much fun, so many things have happened. I had a wonderful trip to Japan with my family and meeting everybody at the offices, It’s been great. Being part of the Lifewear campaign is also something I love, I always loved their clothes. And you guys make me look good on and off the court. Thank you for the video, that was very kind of you.”

Roger Federer is going to be working with Uniqlo for a long time as he signed a 10-year deal worth $300 million dollars back in 2018. This means that as long as the Swiss Maestro continues playing tennis, we are going to see him wear Uniqlo.
Sadly, we are not going to see him wear his Uniqlo outfit on the tennis court this year. This is because he underwent a second knee surgery that caused him to end his 2020 season
The Swiss Maestro is hoping to be at 100% when the 2021 season kicks off. And hopefully, we will see him winning some Slams in his Uniqlo outfit when he returns.
