Israel Adesanya got Jon Jones to agree that he did, in fact, hide under the octagon to escape a drug test. Daniel Cormier, Jones’ longtime rival, discussed this age-old story and shared his opinion on it. According to him, it was definitely not ‘just’ marijuana!

Adesanya, after his dominant victory at UFC 253, has been on a social media roll. The two-week quarantine in Las Vegas has got him tweeting to all corners of UFC. From making fun of Paulo Costa’s demand for a rematch to attacking Jones and everything he stands for, Izzy has done it all.

Inasmuch, there is no surprise that he got Jones to admit his ‘hiding story.’

Now everyone knows everyone.”

Cormier said, “The reality is, if it is true and with Jones’ history you believe that it was for marijuana, you’re stupid as him. You’re as dumb as him! Because come on man, that’s the dumbest excuse. That’s not true man, sorry Jones, I’m not buying it. You were cheating, man, just like all those other times. He got scared and hid under the octagon. You’ve got to have a criminal mindset to know that’s the place they’re not gonna look.”

Daniel Cormier thinks there was more in Jon Jones’ system than just marijuana. Do you agree with him?
