Dillon “Attach” Price is gearing up to play the Call of Duty League 2020 Playoffs with the New York Subliners. He is considered one of the best SMG players in the world. A household name now, this 23-year-old pro has a story to inspire. People usually see a gaming prodigy and ignore the struggle that goes into becoming the best.

Attach is also a successful YouTuber now. With over a 300 thousand subscriber count he almost regularly uploads his gameplays from COD: Modern Warfare. The story that made Dillon Price the Attach we know today is worth knowing.

Dillon Price’s high school experience was just like leading a double-life. In his words, it was “kinda like Hannah Montana.” During his sophomore days, nobody knew the gaming prodigy in their class. He says it was only in his junior year that people started finding out and noticing.

It was only after a Fox news article came out that changed his image altogether. It spoke about how Attach used to go to school by day and grind for tournaments by night. His life, as a competitive gamer, was described in full, giving his peers an insight into a life they didn’t know.

Come senior year, Attach won the World Championship playing with Denial Esports. After achieving that, he says, “you couldn’t hide it anymore!”

His name was hence etched in the COD esports scene, making him the youngest World Champion ever. Furthermore, people started to get more open about video games after this, he adds. His school even congratulated his success making him sign a poster from his tournament win.

Moving on in Call of Duty career with FaZe

With Black Ops 3, Attach joined FaZe but did not manage to get any success right away. The roster was talented but saw no success until the advent of Infinite Warfare. But the real highlight happened with WWII. Attach pulled off an audacious 1v3 clutch against Optic Gaming in the finals, in an S&D map. They, later on, went on to win the tournament. Attach even won the Esports Player of The Year 2018 award.

Attach joining FaZe might have been game-changing for his career but he still believes in building the blocks as an individual.
