“You’re Stirring Up a Fight between Two 50-Year-Old Geezers!”- Eddie Hearn Amused By the Idea of John Fury vs. Micky Theo

Eddie Hearn does not seem very pleased with the ongoing conversation of John Fury vs. Mickey Theo. In an interview by Kugan Cassius for iFL TV, Hearn gave his take on the possible fixture.
He started by making clear just how “unique” he found the idea of the two 50-year-olds competing. And what better than to make it known to the person responsible for hyping it up, Kugan. Hearn said,
“Mate, you are so cringe! Before you phoned me, I was listening to your John Fury interview. What are you doing? You’re stirring up a fight between two 50-year-old-geezers who’re clearly, you know, handfuls.”

Kugan quickly responded, saying that people might compare Hearn’s views on John Fury vs. Mickey Theo to an event that he himself organized. Of course, the event in question is the boxing match between YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul. Hearn responded,
“Yeah, but I’m a promoter. When I decide to do a licensed fight, and it’s up and running, we will promote it. You are trying to play the job of [a] promoter.”
The Brit did clarify that he has nothing against the fixture. He also said that there’s no objection he has to the 50-year-olds doing anything. And while they raise money for the NHS with this stint of theirs, it’s all for the better of the world.
“It’s hard not to be team Fury”- Eddie Hearn picks his side
Carrying on with the interview, Kugan decided to see who Eddie would side with. Eddie responded with a crisp and surprisingly clear standpoint. He said,
“I don’t know the other guy. [He] seems like a nice chap. It’s hard not to be team Fury because John has always been a big supporter of mine. So, I will never back against John Fury…”
