Naomi Osaka just revealed her first crush ever and you would have a difficult time believing it. While the Japanese tennis star has cultivated a very large following of admirers who would love to date her, she revealed that the first time she fell for someone didn’t involve a human.

Naomi revealed the cartoon character Danny Phantom was her first crush ever. While she was pretty embarrassed about it, she did give out proper reasoning behind it. It was a childhood feeling and Danny Phantom didn’t lack charisma.

Naomi talked to Teen Vogue about this. She was asked who her first crush was. Let’s find out her exact answer.

What did Naomi Osaka say? 

Naomi Osaka answered the question, all the while trying to control her laughter. The answer embarrassed her, but she did not back down.

“My first crush…..probably Danny Phantom. I don’t really want to talk about it. But honestly okay everyone that’s watched Danny Phantom that was younger had a crush on Danny Phantom. It’s not a secret okay.”

Danny Phantom was a cartoon character with an interesting backstory. He was a normal boy until he destroyed the laboratory of his parents and became half-ghost. That’s when he starts his quest of becoming a ghost hunter.

You can obviously make out why a child’s developing feelings would fall for him. He is every bit of magic that a kid wants at that stage. It’s not love but primarily an urge to know such a person or be friends with him.

Naomi Osaka is certainly one of the more lively and interesting characters in tennis. If you would expect this answer from someone, it would probably be her. She is actually quite active on her social media and is routinely answering the questions of her fans on Instagram and Twitter in addition.
