“Stealing to Me Wasn’t Even a Thing”- Jon Moxley Opens up on His Harsh Childhood
One of the best wrestlers on the planet right now is none other than Jon Moxley. The former AEW Champion has risen straight to the top after he departed from WWE for the rival promotion.
The hardcore and brutal man fended off challengers for an entire year before finally losing his title to Kenny Omega. He has had some of the grittiest opponents including Eddie Kingston and Brian Cage.
Jon Moxley didn’t become this enduring beast through the academy. He faced a hard life ever since he was a child.

In a recent interview on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, the former AEW Champion revealed the hardships he had to go through as a young boy. He admitted to actively stealing from automobiles.
“Oh God, you have to. I mean that’s like survival and then you get like strength and empowerment by hanging out with other people like being on the team instead of being like an outsider of the team,” explained Moxley.
“So we do what’s called like car dipping where you’d go you know, you’d go through the neighborhood or whatever and just check every unlocked car. And if somebody didn’t like their car you get in you run your hands along the floors and in the seats and check the glove box and just get change or CDs or like whatever you can see,” said the AEW Superstar.
Jon Moxley did not have other options as a young boy
