One of the best wrestlers on the planet right now is none other than Jon Moxley. The former AEW Champion has risen straight to the top after he departed from WWE for the rival promotion.

The hardcore and brutal man fended off challengers for an entire year before finally losing his title to Kenny Omega. He has had some of the grittiest opponents including Eddie Kingston and Brian Cage.

“Oh God, you have to. I mean that’s like survival and then you get like strength and empowerment by hanging out with other people like being on the team instead of being like an outsider of the team,” explained Moxley.

“So we do what’s called like car dipping where you’d go you know, you’d go through the neighborhood or whatever and just check every unlocked car. And if somebody didn’t like their car you get in you run your hands along the floors and in the seats and check the glove box and just get change or CDs or like whatever you can see,” said the AEW Superstar.

“I knew the difference between right and wrong but like everybody just stole because we didn’t have money,” said Moxley. “Like stealing to me wasn’t even a thing. It was just like ‘Oh no, that’s how you’re supposed to live.’”

A lot of wrestlers had hard roads but few can compare to that of Moxley. The road to wrestling fame was also found through brutal and bloody matches.

Moxley still bears the battle scars and he is one of the hardest opponents to face in a ring. He may not be ‘The Lunatic’ anymore, but he is certainly insane when he battles.
