However, there is a certain portion of the community, that isn’t all in with her gimmick. Meanwhile, the wrestler indeed has a cultish fan-following, who swears to stand by her shtick.

AEW Superstar will not bow down to her naysayers

Abadon’s gimmick is a hit and a miss in the community and fans are forever going to stand divided. The young superstar is clearly committed to her gimmick and refuses to mend her ways in face of public outcry. Horrifying characters, with the capability of putting on incredible performances, soon become everyone’s favorite. In due time, these disgruntled fans might come around and hopefully learn to respect and admire the wrestler.

What’s so wrong with Abadon? Well, for starters, fans don’t appreciate wrestlers not selling their finishers and high-profile spots that would leave most wrestlers writhing in pain. Abadon’s entire framework makes her an all-powerful creature from hell, who does not share the same anatomy as her compeers.

This backstory doesn’t sit well certain fans who want to see professional wrestling at the highest level, but superhuman anomalies like these can sometimes depreciate the quality of the match.

On the flip side, characters like The Undertaker, Kane, and former WWE superstar Bray Wyatt are creative geniuses enjoyed a long time under the spotlight and slowly but surely won the love and adoration of the fanbase. Abadon may have struck the wrong chord with a certain portion of the fans, but she can easily redeem herself by staying true to her character.
