The ex-Mclaren driver, who previously refrained from getting tattoos due to the discomfort of the procedure, now has up to 20 ink marks on his body, with the tattoo on his biceps serving as evidence of his affection for Los Angeles. Revealing the story behind getting this tattoo, Ricciardo said, “I was drunk when I got it…but I don’t regret it in the slightest!”

On many occasions, he invites his friends to visit him, which makes LA more enjoyable for him. The Honey Badger jokingly said, “Oh, I’m nice, but I’m not that nice,” Adding further, he said, “Normally I’ll be there when I have guests because that’s when it’s fun.” Ricciardo definitely enjoys the company of his friends and the love of Los Angeles city.

Revealing the backstory in an Interview with AFP, he said, “Growing up, you are very close to your parents, then you get to the age where you want to move away from home and start being with your friends but then it comes back. You get to another age and you start to want to spend more time with them.”
