Former WWE Champion Released From Jail After Sexual Assault Charges

Former WWE Champ Alberto Del Rio (known as ‘Alberto El Patron’ in the Indies) has yet again become a part of a scandal. The 42-year-old veteran has been accused of sexual assault by a woman in Texas. The woman came forward with photographs that allegedly showed Alberto sexually molesting her.
Alberto (real name Jose A.Rodriquez Chucuan) saw an affidavit give a graphic detail of his actions. As per the documents of the court, the woman claims that she was assaulted multiple times by Alberto. It highlights that the most recent incident took place on May 3.
As per reports in News4SanAntonio, Alberto accused the woman of being unfaithful to him. He got angry as she did not admit to the accusations. Investigators also said that she was slapped across her head, and then was taken downstairs by Jose Chucuan.

He proceeded to slap her eight more times in the bedroom. Alberto then made her put on a dress and dance for him but she refused. This prompted Alberto to give her a warning to not cry or he will take her son and “Drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere.”

Police said that Jose then proceeded to tie the woman’s hands with boxing straps and put a sock in her mouth. He assaulted her for hours with various objects after this. The investigators stated he punched her in the back which caused visible injuries.
The victim did not remember much after he put his hand around her throat, according to what she told the detectives. Jose was charged with sexual assault a second-degree felony. His bond was set at $50,000 which he paid at around 3:30 am. He was released after that on Sunday.

Alberto left the WWE in due to his scandalous relationship with Paige which drew criticism due to their age difference. He was released from WWE because of “unprofessional conduct”. He started a fight with an employee because of a racist joke.
Alberto has been active on the independent scene and his continuing his family lineage in wrestling.
