Aryna Sabalenka Receives Huge Boost Ahead of US Open 2021

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has been making constant progress on the women’s Tour. She has gradually climbed the ladder to the top of the rankings and she continues to perform on the highest of levels, tasting success. At the moment, she is preparing herself for the US Open.
Recently, Aryna Sabalenka made a move up the WTA rankings. She is now the new World No. 2 replacing Naomi Osaka in the rankings. The Japanese player’s dip in form was one of the main reasons which gave the Belarusian star a glimpse to clinch her opportunity.
Sabalenka has performed brilliantly this season. She has beaten some of the top-ranked players on a regular basis this season, which helped her knock them off their spot and capitalize on the circumstances.

Aryna Sabalenka and Ashleigh Barty have faced each other a few times
Coming on to tennis this season, Sabalenka began in Melbourne and came as far as the fourth round before losing to Serena Williams in the Australian Open. After that, she made it to the quarterfinal in Miami and the final in Stuttgart, losing twice to World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty.
She dealt with a similar fate, when she faced Barty for the third time in three events, losing to her in Madrid. Sabalenka lost in the third round of the French Open and performed brilliantly at the Wimbledon Championships, reaching the semifinal for the first time.
