American sprinter Fred Kerley has been stunning the world with his terrific performances. The athlete is a man of his word, as he has been producing splendid performances which he had claimed he would.
Fred started off as a 400m race sprinter, but when the Olympic trials came, he changed his preference. Astonishingly, he clinched the silver medal in the 100m race at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Even after becoming the Olympic champion, he desire for glory is insatiable as he keeps breaking records at the Diamond League meets.
The first man to win all three races at Diamond League meet

After winning the Diamond League meet in Brussels, Fred became the first-ever man to win all three races, i.e. 100m, 200m, and 400m.
But his record-breaking performance did not stop as he won the Diamond League finals in Zurich. Fred clocked a time of 9.87 seconds, winning his third consecutive match. He also defeated the Olympic gold medalist, Andre De Grasse, and world leader in 100m, Trayvon Bromell.

After his incredible performance, Fred talked about his amazing year. The American sprinter had earlier mentioned that he wants to be the best and he has been proving the same.

In conversation with KAGS, Fred said, “I still have work to do but I cannot complain. If these guys do well, I need to do well. I’m glad to finish this season out strong. The target for the next season – to keep making history. I won my first Diamond League here, I won my second Diamond League here so I am pleased and happy about Zurich. Now, I have two more races to finish out the season.”
Fred Kerley takes inspiration from Usain Bolt
Olympic legend Usain Bolt dominates the world record in 100m and 200m races to date. Only a few athletes have ever come close to breaking the unbroken Bolt record since 2009. American sprinting star Fred Kerley has his eyes set on becoming the fastest man in the world.

Fred doesn’t limit himself and wants to become the best in all three, 100m, 200m, and 400m races. With just two more races left, it will be interesting to watch what else Fred can achieve. Kerley might even shock the world by breaking the world record at some point in his career.
