However, in the tournaments that he has played in, he has been in impeccable form. After a stellar grass-court season, he clinched two back-to-back ATP titles.

Novak Djokovic has a chance to equal Roger Federer’s record

Roger Federer is the most successful tennis player in the ATP Finals. The Swiss Maestro has won the year-end tournament six times. Second on the list is Novak Djokovic. He has five titles to his name. With his victory against Fritz yesterday, Djokovic has inched closer to his sixth ATP Finals title. With this, he has a golden opportunity to equal Federer’s record.

In the finals, the Serb will face the Norwegian tennis star, Casper Ruud. Ruud is in great form himself and has had a great season. He made it to the finals of both the Roland Garros and the US Open. However, on both occasions, he failed to cross the last hurdle. While Nadal defeated him in the French Open final, the other promising Spaniard, Carlos Alcaraz, defeated him in the US Open final.
