American Tennis Legend Arthur Ashe to Feature in a Riveting New Movie by CNN

Arthur Ashe, the American tennis veteran, was one of the best players tennis has ever seen. In fact, during his playing days, he laid the foundation for black people in tennis. As Ashe was the first black man on America’s Davis Cup team and also was the first black player to lift the trophy at Wimbledon, US Open, and Australian Open.
However, apart from leading the community in tennis, he also worked toward their rights. The former World No.1 took initiatives to make the world a better place. And that’s what makes him unique and respectable. Therefore, CNN has decided to honor Ashe’s contributions with a movie.

After winning the US Open, Ashe had enough recognition to spread his words and ideas. The man powered by the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy to fight for civil rights finally had enough listeners.
Therefore, he marched towards his mission and became a member of a delegation of African Americans who visited South Africa. There, he observed the political changes that took place as people approached racial integration.
