The Serbian tennis star, Novak Djokovic, had a great 2022 season. The tennis star claimed his 21 Grand Slam victory at the Wimbledon this year, and has performed best in his other tournament runs. However, being a part of the Big Three is not easy. The tennis player ahead of the Paris Masters talks about making it big and playing among the well-known tennis giants.

Djokovic is continuously making his contribution as a part of sports. Recently, the tennis star is ready to play the Paris Masters after his victory in the Astana Open by defeating, Stefanos Tsitsipas, in the finals. However, the tennis player believes he still has a lot to fight for.

Is Novak Djokovic, the monster of tennis?

Along with Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic is a well-known tennis player. The big three players had a fantastic season, with the Serbian adding his contribution, 20-time Grand Slam champion announcing his retirement, and Spaniard, Nadal, winning his 22nd Grand Slam Championship title.

However, as Halloween is looming, the former world number one was questioned about becoming the sport’s monster during the press conference prior to the Paris Masters, and the tennis star’s response came off as quite sincere. He said, “I prefer not to be the monster of tennis. But yeah, the record against most of the top players, well, against pretty much all of the top players is positive, which is great.” Living in an era, where the Swiss Maestro, and the Spaniard, have created a great impact, the 21-time Grand Slam champion seemed all positive about playing these big names.

Further, he talked about how playing more matches than the younger tennis players helps to approach the big challenges, when one plays against his top rival. The Serbian tennis star added, “I think, to know how to approach every next big challenge when you play one of your top rivals. I have managed to do well throughout my career, which is great, which is something that I always intended to do.”

Djokovic wants to win a gold 

The 21-time Grand Slam champion has a tremendous dream of winning gold for his nation. He recently revealed that before quitting sports, he wants to take home an Olympic gold.
